Vision and Mission Statements
MetaGovernance’s vision is to be recognized as the leading purveyor of governance and technology solutions that provide corporations with timely, accurate information for business operations and financial disclosure.
MetaGovernance’s mission is to provide companies with Information Governance processes and a Reconciliation Control Framework that can transform inaccurate Data Warehouses and reporting applications into trusted and reliable data sources.
MetaGovernance was founded by Steven Zagoudis, a leading Information Governance specialist. MetaGovernance was launched as an LLC in the state of Georgia in 2008. The Company transitioned to a Delaware Corporation in 2010 and is registered to conduct business in the state of Georgia. MetaGovernance is currently in the process of expanding its presence in California to satisfy the needs of its West Coast customers.
MetaGovernance has perfected the art of introducing Data Governance solutions to organizations, leaving behind operational governance functions that do not require ongoing consulting support. Getting to a point of trusted and available data within your organization is a significant achievement. However this is only part of the total solution, as it is information that is provided to regulators, or used to run the business, not raw data. MetaGovernance has also been able to transcend Data Governance into Information Governance solutions at organizations. The MetaGovernance products and services are geared to work at the Information Governance level to ensure maximum business return on investment.
Many of the MetaGovernance products and services are based on lean thinking principles, all designed to eliminate waste from organizational processes. MetaGovernance excels in identifying and eliminating muda, or waste, from the repetitive and redundant process of manually reconciling and scrubbing data. Data quality assessments can quickly pinpoint areas for improvement. From a system thinking perspective, MetaGovernance can identify the leverage points to affect change. This normally results in an overall reduction of effort spent on collecting and consolidating data, and transforming that data into useful information. MetaGovernance realizes that many of the principles of lean thinking as applied to manufacturing of durable goods apply directly to the production of data and information.
Organizations typically engage MetaGovernance when they have reached the “Awareness” level with the Information Governance Achievement Model and are looking for ways to move forward. The MetaGovernance set of products and services is designed to implement a governance framework in line with your organizational capabilities to leverage the processes, procedures, and applied technology. The MetaGovernance achievement model is a critical component of our toolkit and allows us to target solutions that can affect immediate change, plus provide a long-term roadmap for continued advancement in governance compliance.
